BISON III
Bison Oil & Gas III, LLC (“Bison III”) was founded in late 2019. In June of 2022 Bison III sold the majority of its Bakken holdings to an unnamed private buyer. Bison III continues to hold certain non-operated interests in the DJ Basin of Colorado.
BISON II
Bison Oil & Gas II, LLC (“Bison II”) was founded 2017. In March of 2022 Bison II sold the majority of its assets in the DJ Basin to Civitas Resources as well as the majority of its mineral interest to multiple acquirers. Bison II still holds midstream and royalty assets in the DJ Basin.
BISON I
Bison Oil & Gas, LLC (“Bison”) was formed in 2015 and sold the majority of its assets in 2017. Bison’s exit was one of the most successful in the DJ Basin in recent history.
